We want 3 nights 4 days trek with Eco Tourism Adventure to villages south of Kathmandu we stayed in traditional Nepali house surround by beautiful countryside. those village not the tourist trail .and the people offer genuine hospitality .if you don’t have the time and money for a longer mountain trek or want to avoid the crowds we highly recommend this trek.
Each day we walked between 3-5hours through lovely scenery although it could be done quicker depending on fitness we hiked up hills with stunning views of the river valley below.
This is a unique chance to experience the rural Napali lifestyle; you well stay in traditional home with very few amenities! There is no electricity and road access to those villages. You well have the opportunity to observe and participate in the daily life of those villages.
Visiting the local school, seeing how they produce their food, practicing your Nepalese! And the local food is delicious –wild yams fresh curd millet bread, rice pudding and of course, Dal Baht.
Mahandra(our guide) is a local to this area and forgetting in side in to the Nepalese culture, as he is from the village, he has a connection to the people, and ensures that they also benefit from this tourism. Also in the near future , we hope to establish a develop project in this area, A partial of the trekking cost well go towards the community project-which aims to improve health and education outcomes another reason to support and do this trek. Deeply recommending Eco Tourism Adventure and Mahendra.
