Introduction:

Gorepani Poon Hill Trek Economic 10 Days is a quite easy walk winding through villages and beautiful rhododendron jungle. This trek provides some of the best panoramic views of Annapurna and nearest Himalayas mainly from the Poon Hill. The added presence of rice terraces completes the picture making Poon Hill a photographer's heaven. The trek begins with drive to Pokhara, the real trek begins from Nayapul. We then trek to the beautiful Gurung and Mangar village of Birethati, Hile, Thikhe Dunga, Ulleri, Banthati, Nangethati, Gorepani, Tadapani, Ghandruk  and enjoy the ethnic groups hospitality along with the culture of Gurung and Mangar. Trekking through the rhododendron jungle that bloom with different color of flowers during the spring, downhill to Birethanti, and passing by waterfalls and a few small villages like Syauli Bazzar and more settlements will be a awesome experience. We walk to Naya Pul and then drive to Pokhara which symbols the end of this excellent and easy trek.

At Kathmandu and Pokhara, we provide budget hotel without breakfast included with twin sharing base. During the trek, we provide basic lodge and guest house in village with common toilet and bath with twin sharing base, if you need a Single room we will charge extra $75 (Kathmandu and trek) but high season not so easy to get single room on the way Annapurna Circuit Trek.

Food:
Gorepani Poon Hill Trek Economic 10 Days, Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd not provide food except farewell dinner  but different kind of food like Nepali, Continental, Tibetan and Indian with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water, coke and dessert available on lodge and guest house you can choose on Manu.

Physical Requirements:
Gorepani Poon Hill Trek Economic 10 Daysis easy trek basically hikers have to hike per day 3 to 4 hours with daypack except some days are longer hour than 6 to 7. High altitude hike anyway need energy and experience, for your altitude fitness, have a positive attitude, self-confidence and physically powerful determination, and we can achieve the trek successfully. If Around half month of jogging regularly before this trip is a great idea to improve our power and performance. Past hiking experience would be a great advantage but no technical skill is required for this trip but if you already been for glacier hike that great help for this trip if wants do this trek winter. Before booking this trip it is a great idea to consult with your doctor and if you have any disease better inform us.

Best Time to Travel:
We have two best seasons in the year like autumn and spring, Autumn best month is mid September to mid December and spring best month is mid February to May this two seasons are the best seasons for this trek because of the weather is fine and warm with perfect views but the nights are chilly and can drop to freezing level in higher altitude. Winter season is also good for Gorepani Poon Hill Trek the only problem is cold and lot of snow at Gorepani and on the way to Tadapani. Trekking in summer season will be affected by rain and leach but the summer and winter, trek the trekking routes are not crowded like a spring and autumn.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1300m

Arrival at the Airport in Kathmandu, we will be greeted by a representative from Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd. will take your hotel. Today the trek leader will check our equipment to make sure for one last time to get us ready for our adventure. This step will also ensure that if any equipment is found faulty we have the rest of the day to fix it or find equipment that works. After checking in the evening there will be a welcome dinner in a Nepali Restaurant where we will be able to enjoy authentic Nepali cuisine. Hotel Overnight. Included meal: (NO)

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara 900m. 6-7 Hours

Today after breakfast drive around 6 to 7 hours by bus to Beautiful city with Lake Pokhara, after getting Pokhara look around lakeside where we are staying. Hotel Overnight. Included meals: (NO))

Day 03: Drive to Nayapull and trek to Ulleri 2050m 1 hour drive and 5-6 hours trek

After breakfast drive to Naya Pul and start the trek. We walk through a valley woodland, traverse the Bhurundi Khola (river) before getting Tikhedhunga Village. The Ulleri Hill with thousands of steps and boulders that continually go upward will really prove a test of our stamina. We get to Ulleri by late afternoon. Lodge Overnight. Included meals: (NO)

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani 2750m. 4 - 5 hours

After breakfast, we climb to the Ghorepani village via stone stairway. As we are climbing we admire the amazing vista as Annapurna South looms massive, approaching and going away from our view.  We pass waterfalls, petite villages, and several tea-houses before getting Ghorepani. We stop at the upper part of the Ghorepani village that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains as well as Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. Lodge Overnight. Included meals: (NO)

Day 05: Trek to Tadapani 2700m, hike to Poon Hill early morning 3210m. 6 - 7 hours

Today get up early in the morning to achieve Poon Hill now in occasion to see the sunrise above the Himalayas. Poon Hill is the mainly popular destination to enjoy close up views of Annapurna Ranges, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal, Machapuchhare, Bharashikhar, Tukuche Peak, Dhaulagiri ranges and enjoy the sunrise from these marvelous mountains. After enjoying a cup of coffee, we trek back to Lodge of Ghorepani. We have breakfast here then hike towards the east and scale a ridge. Our trail descends through rhododendron forests and waterfalls before we get Tadapani. Lodge Overnight. Included meals: (NO)


Day 06: Trek to Ghandruk 1970m. 3-4 Hours.
Today our day starts with short downhill from Tadapani, we descend through Jungle and then the trail via Bhaisi Kharka to reach Ghandrunk , the village of Gurung ethnic groups of Nepal can be second largest village in Nepal, have their own language, typical culture, nice costume, and Gorkha army life style. This village is the popular tourist destination even for local tourist (from ktm or pokhara) that offers the outstanding views of Annapurna South Himchuli and Machhapuchhre. Lodge Overnight. Day 7: Trek to Nayapull then drive to Pokhara.  4 hours trek 1 hour drive.
Today we take the main trail that leads to south dropping at first on a staircase, and then traversing high above the river on a stone paved trail. We cross a stream at Chane and continue to Kimche and Syauli bazaar from here on the walking is horizontal and following the river valley through a lovely forest and rice terraces we reach Birethanti. Now walking 30 minutes on a rough and rocky road takes us to Nayapul from where we drive back to Pokhara. Hotel Overnight. Included meals: (NO)

Day 08: Drive to Kathmandu. 6-7 Hours

Today after breakfast drive around 6 to 7 hours bus to Beautiful Kathmandu. Hotel Overnight. Included meals: (NO)

Day 09: Half day sightseeing Kathmandu.

Today city sightseeing of Kathmandu valley with city guide (Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath stupa). Hotel Overnight. Included meals: (D)

Day 10: Final Depature.
