Introduction 

Chisapani Nagarkot Namo Buddha Trek is most popular among those who have lesser time in Nepal and are willing to experience natural beauty. This trekking provides the stunning views of countrysides and mountains. Chisapani Nagarkot hike starts from the short drive to “Sundarijal,” a place away from the city hub.

Chisapani Nagarkot trek follows the trail of Sundarijal climbing up the water pipes, which supplies water in Kathmandu Valley. On the way, you will witness Shivapuri watershed and Wildlife reserve offering rich insight into the culture, lifestyle, and tradition of the locals living there. Also, the view of mountains like Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Ganesh Himal, Mt Dorje lakpa, Mt Gaurishanker, and many more will be overwhelming from the top of Shivapuri.

Similarly, the trail continues to Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Namo Buddha and Panuti. From Panuti you’ll drive back to Kathmandu and archaeological monuments. Spend time sightseeing, and after lunch, you will return to Kathmandu via a two hours drive.

This trip is designed to provide you with a unique opportunity to explore the myriad wonders of nature, rural Nepal, and the awe-inspiring majesty and beauty of dramatic mountain views.

 

Outline itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu to Sundarijal 45 minutes drive; trek to Chisapani 2100m 4-5 hours, Overnight Hotel 

Day 02: Chisapani to Nagarkot 2175m 6-8 hours, Overnight Hotel

Day 03: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel 4-6 hours, Overnight Hotel 

Day 04: Dhulikhel to Navo Budhha 3-4 hours, Overnight Hotel/Lodge

Day 05: Navo Buddha to Panuti 3 hours drive to Kathmandu 2 hours, Overnight Hotel

Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd provides two kinds of accommodation during Ltd, Chisapani Namo Buddha Trek 5 Days. At Kathmandu, we provide three star hotel rooms with breakfast twin sharing base. During the trek, we provide nice lodge or guest house room with common toilet and bath twin sharing base. If you need a Single room we will charge extra $100 (Kathmandu and trek) but high season not so easy to get single room on the way Ltd, Chisapani Namo Buddha  Region.

Food:

We provide welcome dinner Nepali cousin with Nepali culture dance and farewell dinner at K2 steak house (best steak in Kathmandu). Breakfast Kathmandu hotel provide a lot of items you can choose yourself and other guest house you can choose one items in the menu with cup of tea and coffee.

Physical Requirements:

Eco Tourism Adventure Pvt. Ltd, Chisapani Namo Buddha Trek 5 Days is easy trek basically hikers have to hike per day 4 to 5 hours with daypack except some days are longer hour than 7 to 8. High altitude hike anyway need energy and experience, have a positive attitude, self-confidence and physically powerful determination, and we can achieve the trek successfully. If Around month jogging regularly before this trip is a great idea to improve our power and performance. Past glacier hiking experience would be a great advantage for this trek, no climbing technical skill is required for this trip. Before booking this trip it is a great idea to consult with your doctor and if you have any disease better inform us.

Best Time to Travel:

We have two best seasons in the year like autumn and spring, Autumn best month is mid September to mid December and spring best month is mid February to May this two seasons are the best seasons for this trek because of the weather is fine and warm with perfect views but the nights are chilly and can drop to freezing level in higher altitude. Winter season is also good for Chisapani Namo Buddha trek only problem is cold. Trekking in summer season will be affected by rain but the summer trek could. The trekking routes are not crowded like a spring and autumn.

Day 01: Drive to Sundarijal & trek to Chisapani (2175m) (L/D).
After breakfast in your hotel drive to Sundarijal (1350m.) by private vehicle about forty five minutes and trek to Chisopani (2175m.) which takes about four hours trekking. The unpaved road from Kathmandu turns into a trail near a small hydroelectric plant. The trail will enter through the Shivpuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. The first settlement we will come across is Mulkharka with Tamang habitants. The route heads down the ridge through a forest of oaks and rhododendron to Chisopani (2300m.) 4/5 hours.

Day 02: Chisapani to Nagarkot 6/7 hours, overnight Hotel (B/L/D).
Trek from Chispani to Nagarkot which takes 6-7 hours. In the morning you are attracted by the northern mountain views. Trekking path passing to Chauki Bhajang, whicg takes about 2-3 hours. You continue the chroming trails leading you toward Nagarkot. Nagarkot (2170m.) is by for one of the most popular touristic destination. In the clear weather the Himalaya ranges stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west all the way past Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east emerges from darkness to greet the happy visitor with its awe inspiring majesty and beauty, overnight Hotel.

Day 03: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel 4 hours, overnight hotel (B/L/D).
This trip is designed to provide you exotic feeling of being close in nature, villages or best described as rural Nepal and at the most it offers you awe inspiring majesty and beauty of dramatic mountain views. Early sunrise view at Nagarkot is the most fascinating and mesmerizing view. Dhulikhel is your next destination. Treading along the unexplored trails of Dhulikhel can be very exhilarating and enriching experience, overnight in Hotel, 5 hours.

Day 04: Dhulikhel to Navo Buddha  (B/L/D).
After breakfast at Dhulikhel, we walk to the Namo Buddha (1982m), situated on hill above Panauti. It takes about three hours to reach from Dhulikhel. There is an amazing legend related to the Buddha, which is commemorated by an ancient stone slab and a Stupa with the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. We will stay overnight in Monastery, pray together.

Day 05: Navo Buddha to Panauti 2-3 hours than drive to Kathmandu, overnight hotel (B/L).
Today, we take leisurely walk to the thriving Newari village of Panauti. Panauti is wedged between the Punyamata and Roshi streams. Panauti forms the shape of a triangle with a serpent (naga) idol standing at each of its three corners to protect from floods. Pride of this place goes to the massive, three-tired Indreshwor Mahadev. Some authorities believe this to be the original structure that was raised here in 1294 AD, which would make it the oldest surviving Nepal. The shrine area at the sacred confluence called the Khware’, is one of those tranquil spots that can intercept a dreamer for hours. On the way one can have an opportunity to come across lovely temples and interesting old houses, particularly beautiful areas some fourteenth century wooden temple struts. Having taken about six hours on foot journey, we drive to Kathmandu.

Note: The trek can be operated in both hotel or under the canvas on request, as well as being able to combine with some other activities such as white water rafting & Bungee Jump. All the itineraries are subject to change to suit your holiday.
